Youngtown regional park is a lovely reserve on the outskirts of Launceston (10 minutes drive from Launceston city centre). A lot of people would consider this not wheelchair friendly but if you can cope with several bumpy parts, a fairly steep slope every now and then and a set of steps it's not too bad...we even went back a couple of times for take 2 and 3 🤗
We park at the small carpark off Popular Parade. A full circuit around the reserve is approx. 3km.
If you don't have a VERY fit and capable wheelchair-pusher then we would advise not to explore this reserve.
Dogs allowed on lead.
