This is a great park on the outskirts of Invermay that has over 5km of trails around and within the forest that are suitable for walkers, bikers and more importantly wheelchairs. There are lots of picnic and scenic spots. You can definitely spend an hour or two strolling around here.
Most of the trails are smooth gravel and flat...although there are some areas which have a gentle incline and the odd loose gravel part too. You can park at Churchill Park (off Churchill Park Drive) which leads directly to Heritage Forest or if you fancy a bit of a longer walk you can park anywhere on Lindsay Street (or by Silos) and start the walk here using the Inveresk Trail (detailed under Seaport). If you want even more of a challenge and a good work out...start at Stillwater or Royal Park carpark and go for the full circuit 😅
Dogs allowed on lead.
